Loodariak 7/15/2012 Pearl
This gallery contains pictures of our arrival in the Loodariak village, you can see the rough terrain and dry riverbeds we crossed over to get to the Loodo-ariak Secondary School where we parked and walked to join the students for a few minutes; we then drove the rest of the way to the village where we attended Sunday services with the people of Loodo-ariak. Pastor Bryce spoke ,I (Pearl) shared a little of my personal testimony as did Raymond Prothero with the help of an interpreter. This was a special Sunday for all of us, to be standing in the presence of these special people taking in their joy and fevor for the Lord and then being given the honor of passing out bibles to them in their language, Mai; was indeed a once in a lifetime experience, one that I will never forget. There are also shots of the Maasi dung hut, inside and out and if you ever have the chance to talk to Seth, James, Raymond or the Malmquists please ask them about their experiences of sleeping in the hut with Maasi families. Loodo-ariak is in the Rift Valley of Kenya and is mostly dry savannah ringed by beautiful mountains.
