Saturday, July 4, 2009 - Day 118 - This is my Red, White & Blue - The flags I tried to shoot did not work out. We have had this amazing wind the past few days and I just knew that I would get something great with it, but did not show up for the shoot so I did the amazing hibiscus. I did get some lovely flower shots yesterday and as soon as I can finish uploading the wedding pictures from last Saturday I will get them out there.
Does it always take so long to upload when you have a lot? I am having to do them 10-12 at a time. Don't know if it is my computer or SmugMug? Care to Share your experiences?

All in all, I do okay uploading. When uploading many photos (100-150 range), I find that my cable modem gets hot and shuts down sometimes, but not often. Fotoeffects has peaked my interest with the McDaddy suggestion below, so I might check that out.

on July 5, 2009beauty!! i had no probs with my uploads today (haven't done any in a couple months til now) tho if you have a real bunch it can take a while regardless of a reasonably fast upload link anyway. when i have a real bunch to upload i put them all in a single folder start it uploading and go do other things til its done

I've had two days of aggravation uploading photos. I did just a couple this morning and it seemed to be working better. I know they changed the uploader and they may have had a few glitches to work out.
