Dailies May - Dec 09

Most every thing I post is SOC with little post processing and I work with the light available at the time (and since I don't do early most of the time it is mid-day bright light). I will try to remember to let you know if I have cropped or tweeked.

Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 Labor Day - Sunflower<br />

Another overcast sky this morning so I though this would brighten up the day. I feel like the leaves are palms turned up in supplications - Would you please get this thing off my face!<br />
<br />
We are studing some of the Psalms in SS for the next few weeks and I love this one: Psalm 19: 1&2: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth His handiwork. Day unto Day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge.<br />
<br />
Guest pastor yesterday spoke about pain and suffering, how we expect to not have to suffer and how when things happen to us we seem to think that God should take it away or He must not be such a great God anyway...we turn away, blame, look for reasons/excuses; his points were that God suffered..He handed over His only son to be rejected, beaten, mocked and suffer a most horrible death. For me, for you, for anyone who choses to believe. God may not take away my suffering (my back pain, the pain of a failed marriage, loss of ability to earn a decent income) but He will see me through this valley and keep me encouraged to continue on because He has the end of my story already written. I wish to glorify my God and tell of His marvelous works.<br />

this really brightened my day. i've always found myt health issues to be very good for me, tho i do gripe sometimes too. one either knows that God gives what is good that we need or one doesn't
