Dailies May - Dec 09

Most every thing I post is SOC with little post processing and I work with the light available at the time (and since I don't do early most of the time it is mid-day bright light). I will try to remember to let you know if I have cropped or tweeked.

Tuesday 12-29-09 Light & Shadows<br />

Calla lilies and a dirty window. I cropped and used the clone tool to clean up a discolored spot on the top lily and I tweeked the contrast just a tad.<br />

Austin and I got out today and went to Erik's scrimmage lacrosse game - it was cold but the sun was shining. After we got back home I was getting the camera card out when I spotted the lilies, it is a potted plant we brought home from Bobby's funeral and so far we have not managed to kill it. <br />

It is so hard to believe that another year is rolling quickly to a close. I am reading John Edmund Haggai's book "How to Win Over Worry" and it is great. His prompt to remember that God is in control is "PRAISE + POISE + PRAYER = PEACE" - Worry only makes us sick and ineffective and it takes a terrible tole on our bodies, families and friendships.<br />

I visited a healing service on Sunday night with a friend and it was great, I asked for prayer and prayed for all you smugmug friends who are struggling with your own health issues or those of a family member. I could not remember everyone's names but I know that God knows who you are and what your struggle is.<br />
