Tuesday July 28, 2009 - Bears

Had a great afternoon but exhausting - we drove to Helen GA to feed the bears - they were so entertaining. You can buy food and toss it to them and boy do they play the audience. There were some signs and I am kicking myself tonight for not getting a shot of them - Telling us that we are feeding these bears food that is in their diets but reminding us that we should never feed wild bears, well as I think about it .... both of my daughters would probably feed a wild bear and try to make a pet of it too....

It is great to be able to see these guys up so close but it is sad to see them in captivity...I know that they are rescued bears and they have a great life but it is still sad.

Lisa will be having surgery on Thursday and we are asking everyone to please be praying that the surgeon can repair and not have to remove her colon. We have had several people recommend this doctor and feel confident that he will what is best for Lisa but knowing that others are praying always helps.

I have not been able to comment lately, I get to pop out here in small bits and look and do some thumbs up, we have been trying to get Lisa's eBay store loaded and it is very time consuming. That is our priority right now and so far she is doing well with it and I know that it will be successful.

PS I don't know how that picture of Austin made it into the dailies...I have been gone all day today and that particular picture is on an external hard drive on my other computer...one of life's mysteries.
